Steel Deck Structure, Summer installation

The customer had an existing landing on shore that was in poor repair. The landing anchored a floating dock as they were in an area of major water level fluctuations. The customer needed a stable, secure and strong product to replace his existing landing. I took the concept of a steel dock and put it on shore to replace their existing landing. We basically built a steel dock on land for the customer.

The result was a deck with a strong steel substructure to anchor the floating dock.   The footings were a combination of steel drilled into bedrock and steel driven to refusal rather than dug concrete footings. The customer was very happy with the outcome. The footings were very tidy and did not disrupt the tree roots in the area at all.
